The Rushes Resort offers the perfect mix of comfort and adventure. The Rushes Resort is conveniently located on the shores of Kangaroo Lake in the Town of Jacksonport, just 1 ½ miles off highway 57. While our mailing address is Baileys Harbor, we are ideally situated near the Lake Michigan Shoreline, and just a short drive from downtown Baileys Harbor, and nearby towns.Â
Our Welcome Center with the swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, and exercise room are open from 8:00AM-8:00PM daily. The Welcome Center also has food, refreshments, and clothing items available for purchase, movie rentals and activities. Our staff is available to assist with our check- in and check-out process and with any other questions while on property. Our Resort features 48 condos that offer 1,400 sq. feet of well-appointed living space. The condos offer couples and families a perfect blend of comfort, space, and scenic beauty in the heart of Door County. Unlike a cramped hotel room, these spacious two or three-bedrooms, two bath condos feature fully equipped kitchens, cozy living areas with fireplaces, private patios and balconies overlooking the woods, or water. Whether you are enjoying a quiet morning coffee with a view or gathering for a home cooked meal after a day of adventure, the thoughtfully designed interiors provide all the comforts of home with the added indulgence of a resort-style getaway.Â
